Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Carpal tunnel syndrome refers to the presence of numbness and pain along the thumb, index, middle and half of the ring fingers. In more severe cases, it could also lead to weakness or muscle atrophy in the hand. Repetitive use of wrist and hand, post trauma or diseases, resulting in a narrowed wrist compartment, which can compress onto the median nerve and cause the mentioned symptoms.


Our physiotherapists first assess through movement analysis and functional testing. Manual therapy and acupuncture are applied to relieve pain, along with nerve mobilization exercises to free up the nerve.
