Knee Pain

Knee OA can be a common source of knee pain for older adults. This is the age-related changes, and overuse or past injuries of the knee, leading to the thinning of the cartilage in the knee joint. Symptoms of knee OA include pain in weight-bearing positions and long-term pain.

To manage knee OA, our physiotherapists apply manual therapy and acupuncture to lessen the pain, before we introduce knee and lower limb exercises to improve long-term pain and function.
