Bone Spurs

Lumbar osteophytes, or bone spurs, are growths that form on the vertebral joints in the lower back as a result of degenerative changes to the spine in the age of after 30. Lumbar osteophytes might increase the joint stress in our spine and can cause back pain.

Our physiotherapists first assess through movement analysis and functional testing to confirm the affected spinal level. Manual therapy and acupuncture are used to relax tight back and improve joint mobility, along with back and lower limb strengthening exercise to solve the problem.
